Today I have a card for this months SU Demo Fun Fold Blog Hop. I decided to pair Stampin' Up Les Shoppes DSP with Stampin' Up Sentimental Parks Stamp and Die Set to create a beautiful Joy Fold Card.
I started with a Night of Navy card base cut at 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" scored at 5 1/2". I adhered a panel of Stampin' Up Les Shoppes DSP to a Calypso Coral mat prior to adhering it to the inside of the card base. I layered a smaller piece of DSP to a Calyspo Coral mat before adhering it to the front of the card base.
I cut a piece of Night of Navy 3" x 8" and scored it at 4" for the flap of the Joy card. I adhered the flap to the card base opening in the opposite side.
The card front is a piece of Basic White stamped with a sentiment from Stampin' Up Sentimental Park Stamp Set with Night of Navy ink. I die cut a piece of Calypso Coral with Stampin' Up Darling Details. I adhered the layers to the card front.
I stamped flowers from Stampin' Up Sentimental Park Stamp Set using Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight ink on a piece of Basic White. I dieu cut each flower with the coordinating die set. I adhered the flowers to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals and liquid adhesive.
The card front was finished off with Stampin' Up Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems.
The inside is a piece of Basic White stamped with a flower from Stampin' Up Sentimental Park Stamp Set using Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy ink. I layered the Basic White with a Calypso Coral mat prior to adhering it to the inside of the card base.
I created a card similar to this during my weekly Facebook live. Here is the link:

Tara, I think the Joy Fold is one of my faves. Orange and Navy...my college faves colors! Syracuse University...go Orange!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Karen - this fun fold is such a great one to make a pretty card with beautiful papers. Love the papers you chose. I just got this DSP and look forward to using it soon. Thanks for joining the blog hop this month!
