Stampin' Up Fragrant Friends Book Binding Birthday Card

Welcome to another week with The Paper Players Challenge.  This week is a sketch challenge.  I used Stampin' Up Favored Flowers DSP.  I love this patterned paper... the best part is the price... FREE!

I started with a Basic Black card base cut at 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 4 1/4" and 5 1/2".  I adhered the card base together from the 4 1/4" score mark to the 5 1/2".

The card front is a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with a panel of Stampin' Up Favored Flowers DSP adhered together using liquid adhesive.  I adhered a thin strip of DSP to the Blackberry Bliss mat for the side of the card base.
I die cut a piece of SU Favored Flowers DSP using Stampin' Up Fragrant Flowers Dies.  I adhered a loop of metallic silver twine from Stampin' Up Simply Elegant Trim to the card front.

I adhered the flower die cut to the card front over the twine with Stampin' Dimensionals.   I adhered the card front to the card base with liquid adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Something Fancy Stamp Set with Blackberry Bliss on Basic White.  I die cut the sentiment with the matching dies.  I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals and liquid adhesive.

I finished the front off with Stampin' Up Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls.

The inside is a panel of Basic White with the sentiment stamped from Stampin' Up Something Fancy Stamp Set using Blackberry Bliss.  I adhered another die cut flower to the corner with liquid adhesive.  I trimmed the side up and adhered it to a Blackberry Bliss mat before adhering it to the card base.
