Stampin' Up Country Floral Lane Cheerful Basket Valentine's Day Card for Amy Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Today, Amy Inkin' Krew are celebrating "love."  I immediately thought of the upcoming holiday... Valentine's Day.  I decided to dust off Stampin' Up Cheerful Basket Stamp Set and give it a whirl.

I started with a panel of Stampin' Up Country Floral Lane DSP adhered to a panel of Basic Gray card stock.

I stamped the heart bunches from Stampin' Up Cheerful Basket Stamp Set with Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of Stampin' Up Masking Paper.  I fussy cut the image out.  I stamped the image on a piece of Basic White with the black ink.  I then placed the masking sheet over the stamped image and stamped again repeating 3 times.

I colored the image with Stampin' Blends: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Sweet Sorbet.  I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Country Bouquet Stamp Set with Sweet Sorbet ink.  

I adhered the colored strip to a strip of Basic Gray with liquid adhesive.  I adhered it to the card front with liquid adhesive. 

I finished the front off with Stampin' Up Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.  

I adhered the card front to a Smoky Slate card base.

I adhered a strip of DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock.
