Stampin' Up Share A Milkshake Life is Sweeter Card for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

 

Happy Friday Eve and welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin' Thursday Krew.  This week we were given a sketch challenge and I know you will truly be inspired by all that you will see.  I can't wait!

Here's this weeks sketch:

I decided to use Stampin' Up Share A Milkshake Bundle again.  I paired it with Stampin' Up Dandy Designs DSP.  Both items will be available starting January 5th.

I started with a piece of Stampin' up Dandy Designs DSP (available FREE with qualifying purchase) and adhered it to a piece of Pool Party card stock with liquid adhesive.

I stamped a piece of Basic White with Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party with Stampin' Up Share A Milkshake Stamp Set.

I die cut the ice cream scoops and cherry with Stampin' Up Share A Milkshake Die Set.  I die cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the same set to create an ice cream cone.

I blended Soft Suede ink onto the Crumb Cake die cut to give it more texture.  I folded along the lines and adhered the side together to create the ice cone.

I adhered the ice cream in a stack to create a triple scoop cone.

I stamped the sentiment using Fresh Freesia ink on a piece of Basic White.  I die cut the sentiment with Stampin' Up Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered the ice cream cone to the card front using liquid adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered the card front to a Coastal Cabana card base.

The inside is a panel of Basic White with a thin strip of DSP adhered to it.
