Stampin' Up Joyful Flurry Let It Snow Card for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Friday Eve and welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Krew!  This week the Krew was given a theme challenge: Let It Snow.  This was a hard one for me because there are so many gorgeous stamp sets that would work, however I settled on a favorite of my Stampin' Up Joyful Flurry.  This set is so much fun with the coordinating dies that result in images that stay intact and just lift up creating dimension.

 I started out by laying 3 dies from Stampin' Up Frosted Flurry Die Set on a piece of Shimmery White card stock and ran it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  I carefully removed all the pieces that were cut out and poked the arms of each snowflake through to give the card front dimension.

I adhered the Shimmery White to a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock with liquid adhesive.  

I wrapped a piece of Stampin' Up Metallic Mesh Ribbon around the card front and tied a knot.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Joyful Flurry Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Silver embossing powder.  I die cut the sentiment and snowflakes with Stampin' Up Frosted Flurry Dies.  

I finished the front off with Stampin' Up Adhesive Backed Sequins and Gems.

I adhered the card front to a Pool Party card base.

The inside is a panel of Basic White with snowflakes stamped using Fresh Freesia ink in the corners.  I stamped the sentiment using Pool Party ink.
