Stampin' Up Favored Flowers Double Gatefold Card for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Friday Eve on this very short week for most of us.  Welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop Krew.  This week the Krew was given the opportunity to create a fun fold.  I have to admit this is my favorite challenge thus far!  Our team is super talented and many love to create fun fold so the inspiration is going to be out of sight!

I chose to showcase how to use up some of the gorgeous DSP that will be available FREE with qualifying purchase starting January 5th.  I created a double gated fold card using Stampin' Up Favored Flowers DSP.

I started with a piece of Stampin' Up Favored Flower DSP cut at 5 1/2" x 12" and I scored it at 2", 4", 8" and 10".  I measured and marked down at 2 3/4" and cut the corners off from the 4" and 8" score line down to 2 3/4" on each side.

I measured down to 2 3/4" on each side and cut from the second score mark on each side down to the 2 3/4".

I folded along the score lines in a mountain and valley fold on each side.

I stamped the flower image from Stampin' Up Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set with Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of Basic White card stock 3 times.  I colored the images with Stampin' Blends: Rich Razzleberry, Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent.

I die cut each image with Stampin' Up Fragrant Flower Die Set.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Something Fancy Stamp Set using Evening Evergreen ink on a piece of Pale Papaya card stock.

I die cut the sentiment as well as a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock with Stampin' Up Something Fancy Die Set.

I cut a strip of Fresh Freesia card stock 1 1/2" x 11" and wrapped it around the card base to create a belly band.  I adhered the Evening Evergreen die cut to the band with liquid adhesive.  I adhered the flower and sentiment to the belly band using liquid adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals.

The inside is a panel of Basic White with a sentiment from SU Something Fancy Stamp Set with Evening Evergreen ink.  I stamped the flower in the corner and colored it. I adhered the Basic White panel to the card base with liquid adhesive.

I placed the belly band around the card base.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today!  Up next is, Carol Buckalew.
