Stampin' Up Grassy Grove Get Well Card

Today's card is for my great uncle who has been suffering with a broken hip.  I wanted to come up with the perfect masculine card and I think I found one that works.  I used Stampin' Up Grassy Groves Stamp Set.

I started with a Very Vanilla card base.  I inked up the grass stamp from Stampin' Up Grassy Grove Stamp Set with Mossy Meadow ink and stamped it along the bottom of the card stock.  I inked up the trees with the Mossy Meadow and stamped them on each side a couple of times.

I blended Old Olive ink onto the bottom of the Very Vanilla card stock using a Blending Brush.  I blended Balmy Blue ink to create the sky back ground.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Simply Succulent Stamp Set using Night of Navy ink.  I finished the front off with Stampin' Up Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.  I adhered the card front to a Mossy Meadow Mat before adhering the card front to Soft Suede card base.

The inside is a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with a sentiment stamped from Stampin' Up Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set with Night of Navy ink.  I stamped the grass and trees from Stampin' Up Grassy Groves Stamp Set using Mossy Meadow ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla to a Mossy Meadow mat prior to adhering it to the inside of the card base.
