Stampin' Up Cottage Rose You Are Positively The Greatest Card

Happy Friday Eve and welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop Krew!  This week the Krew has a color challenge.  We are to create a project using Basic Black, Basic White and a Pop of color.  I decided to use Poppy Parade for my pop.

The card front is a panel of Basic White dry embossed with Stampin' Up Timeworn Type Embossing Folder adhered to a Basic Black Mat.  I adhered the layers to a Basic White card base with Black Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped the flower from Stampin' Up Cottage Rose Stamp Set on Basic White card stock using Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink.  I colored the flower with Stampin' Blends: Poppy Parade.  I die cut the image with Stampin' Up Cottage Flower Dies. I adhered the flower to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I die cut a piece of Basic Black with Stampin' Up Christmas Banners Dies several times.  I adhered the black leaves under the flower with liquid adhesive.  I embellished the front with Stampin' Up Black Matte Dots.
The inside is a panel of Basic White with the sentiment and flower stamped using Mementos Tuxedo Black ink.  I adhered the Basic White panel to a panel of Basic Black.

Thanks so much for hopping by!  Up next is Terry Lynn.

  • I love die sets.  I am always excited when I see a coordinating stamp and die set.  So I can not express how excited I was to see Stampin' Up has released new die sets to match stamp sets in the 2022-23 Annual Catalog as well as July-December 2022 Mini catalog.  These sets are available only the month of September or while supplies last so don't delay.
