Stampin' Up Sweet Candy Cane Season's Greeting Card for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Friday Eve blog hoppers!  Welcome to another week with Happy Inkin' Thursday's Krew, this week we were challenged to use up some of our Designer Series Paper.  I have decided to use my DSP in several different ways.  I am using Stampin' Up Sweetest Christmas Suite.

 

Today's card features Stampin' Up Sweet Candy Canes Stamp Bundle as well as Stampin' Up Christmas Banners Bundle.  

The card front is a panel of Stampin' Up Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper adhered to a Garden Green panel.  I die cut a piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock with Stampin' Up Stitched Rectangle Die Set.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I die cut candy canes from Stampin' Up Sweetest Christmas DSP using Stampin' Up Candy Canes Dies.  I adhered them to the card front with liquid adhesive.

I stamped a banner with Stampin' Up Christmas Banners Stamp Set using Pool Party ink on a piece of Shimmery White card stock.  I die cut the banner with Stampin' Up Christmas Banner Dies.  I die cut some greenery and berry branch using Garden Green, Early Espresso and Sweet Sorbet card stock.

Lastly, I adhered the the banner to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I adhered the die cuts under the banner with liquid adhesive.

I finished the front of the card off with Stampin' Up Festive Pearls prior to adhering the card front to a Sweet Sorbet card base.

The inside is a panel of Shimmer White card stock with the sentiment stamped with Garden Green ink.  I adhered a strip of DSP to the side prior to adhered it to a Garden Green panel.  I added the layers to the inside of the card.

I hope you noticed all the different ways to use up some DSP: layering for the card front, die cut images and use them, add a little something to the inside panel and decorating the envelope.
