Stampin' Up Hello Ladybug for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

WOW! It's hard to believe we are over 1/2 way through the year.  Time truly goes fast the older you get.  This month Amy's Inkin' Krew is creating cards to celebrate the summer.  I know you are as excited to see what everyone comes up with as I am!  I decided to transform Stampin' Up Ladybug Builder Punch into a honeybee.  

I started with a piece of Crushed Curry card stock.  I cut thin strips of Basic Black card stock and adhered them to the Crushed Curry with liquid adhesive.  I let the layers dry then punched a honeybee out using SU Ladybug Builder Punch.  I punched wings from a piece of vellum.  I adhered the wings to the bee using SU Black Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Simply Fabulous Stamp Set using Poppy Parade ink on a piece of Basic White card stock.  I stamped the flower cluster with Poppy Parade from Stampin' Up Hello Ladybug Stamp Set.  

I layered a piece of Stampin' Up Butterfly Kisses DSP with a panel of Basic Black cardstock.  I adhered the stamped Basic White to the DSP layer with Stampin' Seal.  

I adhered the honeybee to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added 3 black dots from Stampin' Up Classic Matte Dots.

I adhered the card front to a Crushed Curry card base.  

The inside is a panel of Basic White with flowers stamped in the corner using Poppy Parade ink.  I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom.
