Today's card features some old product with some new products. I love to pull out a stamp set that has been around awhile and give it new life. I have combined Stampin' Up Texture Chic DSP with Stampin' Up Painted Poppies Stamp Set.
I am playing along with this weeks Paper Players Challenge, below is the sketch.
The card front is a panel of Poppy Parade card stock that I adhered pieces of Stampin' Up Texture Chic DSP and Stampin' Up Distressed Gold Specialty Paper to.
I stamped flowers from Stampin' Up Painted Poppies Stamp Set on to a piece of Poppy Parade card stock with Versamark ink. I sprinkled Stampin' Up Heat and Stick Powder onto the stamped image. I used my Stampin' Up Heat Tool to melt the powder and quickly rubbed it with Stampin' Up Gilded Leafing. I rubbed the excess off. I adhered them to the card front using liquid adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals.
I die cut the flowers using Stampin' Up Painted Label Die Set using a Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine. I die cut a piece of the Distressed Gold DSP with Stampin' Up Artistic Die Set. I cut the leaves and adhered them under the flowers.
I finished off the front of the card with a sentiment from Stampin' Up Art Gallery Stamp Set using Evening Evergreen ink on a strip of Very Vanilla. I punched the end off with Stampin' Up Banners Pick A Punch tool. I adhered a small strip of Stampin' Up Gold Shimmer Ribbon to the back of the banner with a Mini Glue Dot. I adhered the banner to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the card front to an Evening Evergreen card base.
The inside is a panel of Very Vanilla card base with a sentiment from Stampin' Up Charmed Sentiments using Evening Evergreen ink. I added a strip of DSP to the bottom.
