Welcome everyone! Hope you are as excited as I am to get some inspiration on all things new from Stampin' Up. I am sure that the Krew will not disappoint! I chose to use Stampin' Up Sending Smiles Stamp Set that will be available along with all sorts of new stuff starting May 3rd. Today's card not only features a new stamp set, I used new DSP and another stand alone die along with the new 2022-24 In Colors.
The card front is a panel of Sweet Sorbet card stock with Stampin' Up 2022-24 In Color DSP adhered to it. I cut a strip of DSP and adhered it to the left side using liquid adhesive.
I cut a piece of Basic White card stock using the new Stampin' Up Stylish Shapes Dies. I see this being a go to for any card!
I stamped flowers and stems using Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party ink on Basic White. I die cut the flowers using Stampin' Up Sending Dies.I adhered the Basic White stitched circle to the card front using liquid adhesive. I adhered the flower pieces to the circle using Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the sentiment, I die cut the sentiment "sending" with a piece of Sweet Sorbet.
I adhered a piece of Stampin' Up Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Basic White. I die cut the detailed "sending." I carefully peeled the backing off the adhesive sheet and layers the sentiment die cuts together. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a piece of Basic Black card stock. I die cut the sentiment and adhered it to the card front with liquid adhesive.I finished the card front with Stampin' Up 2022-24 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.
I adhered the card front to Orchid Oasis card base folded in tent fashion.
The inside is a panel of Basic White with DSP adhered to the side.Thank you so much for "hopping" by! I can not wait to see what everyone has created! Up next is, Amy Koenders.
