Today's card is a clean and simple card using ink blending technique. The sketch is from this week's CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge.
The card front is a panel of Basic White card stock. I adhered Post-It Note tape to the panel creating a rectangle. I blended Daffodil Delight ink into the card stock on the open space with a Stampin' Up Blending Brush. I covered the entire open space. I next blended Mango Melody ink starting 1/3 of the way down, then blended in Pumpkin Pie ink.
I carefully removed the Post-It Note tape revealing a ink rectangle on the Basic White. I stamped the palm tree image from Stampin' Up Paradise Palms Stamp Set with Mementos Tuxedo Black ink. I added the sentiment to the side of the trees.
I adhered the Basic White panel to a piece of Mango Melody card stock using liquid adhesive. I adhered the card front to a Basic Black card base.
A simple elegant card that is very quick to make.
