Stampin' Up Hand Penned Birthday Card

After weeks of making mainly Christmas cards, my birthday card stash has taken a hit.  So today,  I created a stunning birthday card using Stampin' Up Hand Penned DSP alongside Stampin' Up Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set.  The color scheme is compliments of this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge: pink, silver and white.The sketch came from this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  


    1.    Die cut a piece of Stampin' Up Silver Foil and Basic White with Stampin' Up Penned Flower Die Set

    2.    Stamp sentiment from Stampin' Up Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set on a strip of Basic White with Blushing Bride ink

    3.    Adhere a panel of Stampin' Up Hand-Penned DSP to a panel of Silver Foil to create the card front

    4.     Cut a piece of silver Stampin' Up Simply Elegant Trim   adhere to the card front with Mini Glue Dots
    5.    Adhere large Basic White Die cut to the silver die cut. Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals

    6.    Adhere loose Basic White die cut flowers to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue

    7.    Adhere sentiment strip to card front

    8.    Adhere card front to a Blushing Bride card base
    9.    Stamp flowers in 2 corners of a Basic White panel with Blushing Bride ink

    10.    Stamp sentiment from Stampin' Up Best Years Stamp Set with Blushing Bride ink

Paper Dimensions: 

    Blushing Bride: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4" 
    Silver Foil:  3 1/4" x 3 1/2"
    Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 4" x 4" and 2 1/2" x 5/8"
