Stampin' Up Whimsical Tree Shaker Card

I love non traditional colors when creating Christmas cards and Stampin' Up Whimsy & Wonder Bundle is going to be perfect for this!  Today's card was inspired by this weeks Global Design Project Sketch Challenge.  

The first thing I saw when looking at this above sketch was shaker card.  I rarely create them, however they are so fun!  

I started with a panel of Misty Moonlight DSP from Stampin' Up Whimsy and Wonder DSP that I adhered to a panel of Blushing Bride card stock with liquid adhesive.  

I stamped the tree image from Stampin' Up Whimsical Tree Stamp Set with Mint Macaron ink on a piece of Basic White.  I die cut the image with Stampin' Up Christmas Tree Dies.  I die cut a piece of Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron and Misty Moonlight with the ornament dies.  I adhered them in random fashion on the tree.  

I adhered the tree to the card base with liquid adhesive.  

I die cut another piece of DSP with Stampin' Up Scalloped Contour Dies.  I die cut a window in the die cut piece with Stampin' Up Stitched Rectangle Dies.  

I used Stampin' Up Tear and Tape Adhesive to the back of the window DSP piece.  I adhered a Stampin' Up Window Sheet to the back of the die.  

I sprinkled some Stampin' Up Subtle Shimmer Sequins onto the Christmas tree.

I lined a Stampin' Up Foam Adhesive Strip along each edge of the window.  I adhered the window piece to the card front.  I gave it a little shake.... viola Shaker Card.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Merry Snowflakes Stamp Set with Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White piece.  I die cut the sentiment with Stampin' Up Stitched Rectangle Dies.  

I adhered the card front to a Mint Macaron card base.

The inside was completed with another sentiment from Stampin' Up Merry Snowflake Stamp Set.  I stamped the tree from Stampin' Up Whimsical Tree Stamp Set.
