Stampin' Up You're So Sweet Fun Fold Happy Birthday Card

Today the Inkin' Krew is celebrating summer.  I can not think of a better way to celebrate summer than enjoying a beautiful ripe peach.  I used Stampin' Up Sweet As a Peach suite in this fun fold birthday card.

I started with a piece of Balmy Blue card stock cut at 5.5" x 11".  I scored the card stock at 1 1/4", 3 3/8", 7 5/8" and 9 3/4".  

I cut Stampin' Up You're A Peach DSP (currently on sale) for the front panels and inside panels.  For the front panel under the flap and inside panel I cut DSP at 5 1/8" x 2" and the folded over panel the DSP is 5 1/8" x 1 1/8". 

I adhered the DSP to the card flaps.  I cut a strip of Balmy Blue card stock at 11" x 7/8".  I scored the strip at 3" and  7 3/8".  I overlapped the strip and adhered it together.

I die cut a piece of Pear Pizazz with Stampin' Up Hippo & Friends Dies.  I stamped a peach image from Stampin' Up Sweet As A Peach with Pale Papaya ink with Calypso Coral ink blended along the edges of one side.  I stamped the flower image with Calypso Coral.  I die cut the images with Stampin' Up Peach Dies.

I adhered the Pear Pizazz die cut to the belly band.  I adhered the peach and flower to the die cut with Stampin' Dimensionals.  

The inside is a panel of Basic White card stock.  I stamped leaves with Pear Pizazz ink.  I stamped peaches with Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral ink.  I stamped Happy Birthday with Calypso Coral ink and "to a sweet friend" with Pear Pizazz ink.  I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside.

I cut another piece of DSP in 2 pieces measuring 5 1/8" x 2".  I adhered it to the inside panel.
