I struggle with slim line cards, so this was a true challenge for me. I have a problem with all the bare space which makes clean and simple cards difficult for me as well. I cut my card stock base at 8.5" x 7". I scored the card stock in half at 3.5".
I adhered a panel of Stampin' Up Hand-Penned DSP to a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock.
I stamped the flower image from Stampin' Up Dragonfly Garden with Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White.
I stamped the dragonfly with Mementos Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Stampin' Up In Colors Shimmer Vellum. I let this sit to the side for quite awhile... The ink wanted to smudge. I punched the image with Stampin' Up Dragonfly Punch.
I punched some small dragonflies out of Polished Pink Vellum.
I stamped the sentiment with Evening Evergreen ink on Soft Succulent card stock. I die cut the sentiment with Stampin' Up Scalloped Contour Dies.
I adhered all the die cuts and punched images to the card front using liquid adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals.
