Today's order was full of great new stuff... but what screamed out at me were Stampin' Up Soft Pastels. I had a set from another company in a previous life and loved them.
I started with a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the tree with Soft Suede ink. I stamped one of the tree tops (leaves) with Versamark ink. I scribbled Mossy Meadow Soft Pastel over the Versamark and blended the chalk with a Stampin' Up Blender Brush.
I stamped the matching leaves stamp with Versamark ink. I scribbled Stampin' Up Granny Apple Green Soft Pastel into the Versamark ink. I blended it with my Blender Brush. For the background, I scribbled Night of Navy Soft Pastel all along the background. I blended the chalk into the card stock in any white background. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set in Soft Suede on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I die cut the sentiment with Stampin' Up Tailor Made Tags Dies. I wrapped a piece of Stampin' Up Linen Thread three times and tied it to the card front. The inside is a panel of Basic White card stock with another tree stamped with Soft Suede and the Soft Pastels. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up Sunny Sentiment Stamp Set stamped with Soft Suede ink.
