Today's card features Stampin' Up Flowering Cactus Medley. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday as well as Sunday's Stampers Color Challenge for inspiration.
The card base is a piece of Pear Pizazz card stock folded in tent fashion. I adhered 2 pieces of patterned paper from Stampin' Up Flowering Cactus Product Medley to a panel of Early Espresso.
I die cut a piece of Early Espresso with Stampin' Up Peony Dies. I adhered the scalloped edge to the pattern paper. I cut 2 thin strips and adhered them.
I die cut a piece of Old Olive with Stampin' Up Stitched Rectangle dies. I adhered it to the card front.
I die cut a piece of Garden Green card stock with the cacti die from the product medley. I stamped a piece of Basic White with Garden Green. I stamped flower images with Daffodil Delight. I die cut the cacti and flowers with the die set from the product medley.
I adhered the cactus to the card front with liquid adhesive. I adhered the flowers to the cacti with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the product medley with Old Olive. I die cut the sentiment with Stampin' Up Stitched Shapes. I wrapped a piece of linen thread and adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered the sentiment square to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The inside of the card was completed with a panel of Basic White. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso. I stamped a cacti with Garden Green. I adhered more of the flowers with liquid adhesive.
Don't forget Stampin' Up Last Chance List. Many items are selling out quickly.
