Today's card features Stampin' Up Prized Peony in a super simple pocket card. I used the Peony die cuts to create a beautiful embellishment to stand out front and center among Stampin' Up's gorgeous Peony Garden DSP.
I started out with a sheet of Petal Pink Card stock to create the base. Once I scored the base, I took Stampin' Up Tear and Tape adhesive to the edges to create a pocket. I next decorated the front 2 panels with coordinating DSP from the Peony Garden suite.
Creating the front embellishment was so fun and super easy. The end results are amazing! The Peony die cut set has 4 die cuts that when cut line up perfect to create this beautiful flower. I added mini glue dots to keep them lined up but allow some wiggle room to curl the petals up to provide dimension. I cut the dies with Whisper White and sponged the edges with Stampin' Up Petal Pink. The finishing touches were a black stamina and leaves.... Oh but wait! I know its difficult to see but I spritz the flower and leaves with a mixture of water and Stampin' Up Shimmer Paint in Frost White- look at the glimmer!
I love how this card turned out and I can't believe how easy it was!
Thanks for stopping by!
