Stampin Up Forever Fern Thanks Card

Todays card features 2 of my favorite stamps set from Stampin' Up,  Forever Fern and Ornate Thanks.  I have found myself using these 2 sets almost daily.  I used the sketch from this weeks challenge over at Paper Players.

I started with a Basic Black card base scored at the top.  I used DSP from the In Good Taste collections with a strip from the In Color Collection.  I stamped greenery from Stampin Up Forever Fern on a panel of Very Vanilla in Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Seaside Spray.  I stamped more greenery and die cut it to give the card a little dimension.  I embossed the Very Vanilla panel with my Stampin Up Subtle embossing folder to provide a little texture.  I layered a strip of Very Vanilla that was stamped with my sentiment on more In Color DSP.  I finished off the front with a couple of Stampin Up Frosted and Clear Epoxy Droplets.

I completed the card by stamping a thank you sentiment from Ornate Thanks in a combination of Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight.  I added greenery from the Forever Fern set in the corner.

Stampin' Up Dino Days Good Luck Card

Todays card features Stampin' Up Dino Days and Playing with Patterns DSP in a fun fold that I have never tried.  I have a good friend moving to Florida this weekend and I had to send her good luck!

I stamped the cute dinosaur in Calypso Corral and die cut some spikes for his back in Night of Navy.  I used some retired embellishments.  The die cut that I adhered the dinosaur from the new Stampin' Up Hippo and Friends set.

I adhered some DSP from Playing with Patterns to each side.  The center panel was Whisper white with the dinosaur stamped in Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy.

Stampin' Up Beautiful Friendship Graduation Card

The card starts off with just a base of Old Olive, a panel of Night of Navy to act as a mat and a panel of Whisper White.  I stamped the Whisper White with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Night of Navy ink.  I did my best to stamp it the same on each side.

I next stamped the sentiment on a strip of Whisper White that I matted with Night of Navy.  I angled it to split the card in half and trimmed the edges off of each corner.  Addition of enamel dots finished the card off.

I stamped the same flower on a envelope to give it a little something extra.

I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up Silhouette Scenes to give my graduate just the right encouragement.  I stamped the flowers on the edge to give the inside a little bit of flair.

Stampin' Up Flowering Blooms Thank You Card

Today's card features Stampin' Up Flowering Blooms stamp set along side Flowers for Every Season DSP.

I created the flower with a stamp from Stampin' Up Flowering Blooms using my Stamparatus.  I used the direct to rubber technique. I colored the stamp with Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive Write Marker.  I then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White.  By using the Stamparatus, I was able to color and stamp several times and it remained all lined up.  Once I was satisfied with the colors, I die cut it with a coordinating die from the Stampin' Up Flowering die set.

I die cut some Old Olive leaves to layer under my flower.  I took a piece of Bumblebee cardstock and die cut a scroll from the same die set.  I wanted to the scroll as a decorative edge for my DSP, however it was not long enough.  In order to make a longer scroll, I lined the edge up and used a piece of painters tape to secure it.

I adhered some DSP to a Whisper White panel and adhered the scroll at the edge.  I added the flower and leaves with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I embossed "thank you" from the Stampin' Up Flowering Blooms set with white embossing powder to a scrap of Magenta Madness.  I die cut the sentiment with a flag from Stampin' Up Tasteful Touches set.

The inside of the card was completed with the sentiment from Flowering Blooms in Magenta Madness.  I used my Stamparatus again to color the inside flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Up Whale Done Happy Birthday Card

Today's card features the new Whale Done stamp set from the new Stampin' Up Annual Catalog.  This suite has rich beautiful colors that makes for really fun cards.

I started out with a Granny Green card base.  I then took a sheet of Whale of a Time DSP cut at 4" x 5.25" and cut it in half from corner to corner. I used a small piece of wash tape to keep the paper together so I could cut it again from corner to corner on the opposite corner.  This left 4 triangle pieces.

I embossed a panel of Calypso Corral with Stampin' Up Subtle 3D embossing folder.  I adhered 2 of the triangle DSP sheets to the Calypso Corral.  I adhered the panel to a Shaded Spruce panel to act as a mat.  All these colors work really well together against the Granny Apple Green.

I stamped Happy Birthday from Stampin' Up Peaceful Moments set on Balmy Blue card stock and die cut it with Stampin' Up Stitched Nest Dies.  Next, I stamped some seaweed from the Whale Done stamp set in Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce ink.

The die cut was added to the card panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added a stamped turtle from Whale Done to finish the card front off.

The inside was stamped with a sentiment from Whale Done in Shaded Spruce ink.  I added schools of fish in Calypso Corral and sea weed in each corner.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Up Prized Peony Shimmer Pocket Card

Today's card features Stampin' Up Prized Peony in a super simple pocket card.  I used the Peony die cuts to create a beautiful embellishment to stand out front and center among Stampin'  Up's gorgeous Peony Garden DSP.

I started out with a sheet of Petal Pink Card stock to create the base.  Once I scored the base, I took Stampin' Up Tear and Tape adhesive to the edges to create a pocket.  I next decorated the front 2 panels with coordinating DSP from the Peony Garden suite.

I stamped the sentiment "love and thanks" from the Stampin' Up Prized Peony set to a scrap of Whisper White and die cut it with Stampin' Up Tasteful Label set.  I gave the sentiment a little height with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I created a card for the inside with several stamps of the Prized Peony set in Basic Gray.... Now to the fun part!

Creating the front embellishment was so fun and super easy.  The end results are amazing!  The Peony die cut set has 4 die cuts that when cut line up perfect to create this beautiful flower.  I added mini glue dots to keep them lined up but allow some wiggle room to curl the petals up to provide dimension.  I cut the dies with Whisper White and sponged the edges with Stampin' Up Petal Pink.  The finishing touches were a black stamina and leaves.... Oh but wait!  I know its difficult to see but I spritz the flower and leaves with a mixture of water and Stampin' Up Shimmer Paint in Frost White- look at the glimmer!

I cut a circle out with Stampin' Up layered circle dies to use as a base. I used more Stampin' Up Tear and Tape to insure that flower would be secure.

I love how this card turned out and I can't believe how easy it was!

Thanks for stopping by!

Petal Pink: 5.5 x 8.5. scored at 2" and 6"

Stampin' Up Nothing's Better Than Cocktails

I fell in the love with Stampin' Up Nothing Better bundle the very first time I saw it.  This set has a little bit of everything for everyone.  Who doesn't love Cookies, Chocolate or Cocktails?  This years annual catalog also has an amazing Rainbow Shimmer paper that is incredibly versatile.

I started out using a stamp from Textured Essential on a Whisper White panel with Mango Melody.  I adhered a strip of the Rainbow Glimmer paper to the edge.  I die cut some Granny Apple Green card stock with a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles die and "Cocktails" from the Never Better set.  I then took a scrap piece of Whisper White and stamped the cocktail glass and sentiments.  I colored the lime and umbrella with Stampin' Up blends. I cut the sentiment out with paper snips.  Next, I adhered the scallop circle to the panel and used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the cocktail glass and sentiment.  I adhered "Cocktails" to the panel with fine-tip glue.  I finished it off with 3 of the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots.

The inside was finished off with a sentiment from the Nothing Better stamp set and limes from the Stampin' Up Cute Fruit set that is available in the Beginners Brochure.  The limes were stamped in Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow.
